Evolution is an electronic security and life safety company based in the UK and Ireland with international reach. From three offices in the UK, two in Ireland, and one in The Netherlands we support an increasingly diverse and demanding customer base.
We are also able to provide comprehensive worldwide services through carefully chosen technology partners, all of whom are upskilled and trained to a UK benchmark. For those long-standing customers with global needs, our Special Projects teams can similarly deliver solutions anywhere in the world, embedding staff for major projects and ongoing work.
Wherever the needs of our customers take us, we ensure all of our projects address the local regulatory and legislative requirements, as well as the challenges posed by procurement. Our strong balance sheet, established client relationships, and demonstrable quality of work give credibility from the front line to the C-suite and Executive Floor.
Independent Thought & Action
Evolution, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021, transitioned in April 2022 to an Employee Owned Trust (EOT) for the future benefit of all employees. The Evolution Trust owns 77% of the company and every EOT member will share in the profits for as long as they are part of the business.
Current owners and founders Richard Lambert and John Wust retain 23% of the company to ensure management continuity and as a signal of their ongoing commitment to employees and customers alike.
Evolution is one of the largest, independently-owned businesses of its kind, capable of delivering Enterprise-wide Electronic Security and Life Safety Systems, Risk and Design and allied Professional Services. With a 2022 turnover of £40 million, and over 200 employees across five offices, we are a recognised expert in what we do, and have the clients, the testimonials and the accreditations to prove it.
